Events: Veterans Day Observance
The Norris Lions Club celebrates Veterans Day every year, with a breakfast gathering at a local establishment and a ceremony honoring our Norris friends and neighbors for their military service -- veterans whose services date as far back as 1942 and all those who have served since. Activities typically begin at 10:00 a.m. on 11th with socializing among the veterans and with the Norris community. This last year, the program proceded as folloows:
10:00 a.m. Veterans meet at the Lions Pavilion
Coffee, tea, light food, socializing

10:40 a.m. Brief remarks, Wreath Presentation & Honors to the Colors
10:50 a.m. *Veterans move to front of Norris Middle School with historical flags.
